FAQ
  • How do I burn candles safely?
Glad you asked! Here are some of our tips! 1. First of all, never leave a lit candle unattended. Keep it within sight at all times please! 2. Burn your candle on a fire-resistant surface, away from anything and everything that can catch fire. Like curtains, beddings, loose paper, and the like. It's best to give your candle space to breathe, and work it's magic! 3. Speaking of things candles should avoid, keep them away from drafts like open windows, fans, air conditioners, et cetera. 4. Keep candle away from little kids and pets too. 5. If the flame gets too high or flickers, extinguish it, and trim the wick, making sure the candle isn't exposed to any drafts. 6. Make sure the candle is free of any foreign materials, like wick trimmings, while you are burning it. 7. A lit candle is hot, so don't move it while burning. After the flame has just been extinguised, the vessel may likely also be warm to the touch, so do allow it to cool first. 8. Stop using the candle when there is only around 1 cm of wax left on the bottom. This is to prevent the flame from getting to the base of the vessel and to keep it from getting too hot.
  • What are your tips to get candles to burn properly?
    1. FIRST THINGS FIRST: Candle wax has something called a "wax memory", so especially during the first burn, make sure the melt pool reaches towards the edge of the vessel. This will help prevent tunneling in the future. 2. TRIM THE WICK: The ideal wick length is around 1/4 of an inch. So make sure to trim it to this length before each burn. 3. DON'T GO ALL THE WAY: Stop burning your candle when there is only 1 cm of wax left. Get another wonderful candle from us, and keep the party going! 4. REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE: Done with your candle but think our vessels are too cute? Place the candle in a freezer for a few hours to remove the remaining wax. Or if you are adept in the kitchen, or in the presence of a kitchen-proficient adult, place the candle on a saucepan with a little bit of water on medium heat to melt off the remaining wax so you can clean it.
  • What do you love about your soy candles?
Soy wax, which comes from a natural source, burns cleaner than paraffin and releases little to no soot in the air. It also burns slower than paraffin making for a candle you can enjoy longer. We blend our soy candles with coconut wax to enhance scent throw. The sweet smell of soy and coconut also helps in enhancing our fragrance blends.
  • What makes your beeswax candles special?
We love them for a variety of reasons, but here are some of our top picks! BEESWAX PURIFIES THE AIR. When burned, beeswax is believed to releases negative ions, which then bind with dust and pollutants to help you clean the air. IT SMELLS A LITTLE LIKE HONEY. The faint smell of honey adds a nuanced and sweet dimension to our beeswax candles. IT LASTS LONGER. As it is harder, it burns slower making for a longer lasting candle.

  • What are your earrings made of and how can I take care of them?
Sugar, spice, and everything nice! Well that, and polymer clay and a lot of love so we hope you like them. Polymer clay is waterproof and pretty sturdy, but please still do take care of them and don't put them anywhere where they can be disfigured or squised. Our earring hooks are stainless steel, but the rings are not. So it is best not to get them too wet. To clean, just wipe it with a damp cloth and air dry.
